Curator, Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre
The Curatorial Assistant is responsible for assisting the Curator in the planning, management, and implementation of programming and exhibitions at the Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre. Primary focus will be concentrated on the preparation of the Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre’s first exhibition, scheduled for January 2017. Through innovative mediums, the exhibition will interpret the history of the Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital. Duties will likewise include monitoring the exhibition space, leading historically-informed tours of the grounds for the public, planning educational and culturally-informed programming and events, and supporting social media campaigns, a podcast program, and an oral history interview project.
