The Department of History at Purdue University seeks nominations and applications for the Endowed Chair – History of Medicine. Scholars at the rank of full professor with a strong publication record and research agenda as well as exemplary teaching experience are encouraged to apply. The area of specialization and time period are open. The successful candidate will develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the history of medicine, provide leadership for program development in the history of science, medicine, and technology, and contribute to the intellectual life of the department, College of Liberal Arts, and Purdue University.
