What kind of person was Sir Frederick Banting, the co-discoverer of insulin? A brilliant medical researcher or a small-town doctor who became a Canadian hero by chance? This year?s recipient of the Margaret Angus Research Fellowship, Natalia Mukhina, will look at ?the Banting paradox? from a fresh perspective, analyzing the body of evidence surrounding the personality of the First Canadian Nobel Laureate. Refreshments will follow.
