McGill’s Institute for Health and Social Policy, in collaboration with the new Centre for the Interdisciplinary Study of Montreal, is delighted to announce an exciting public event — Meditheatre: Montreal Medicine at Expo 67 on the evening of October 1st.
This event, reflecting the hard work and inspiration of CSHM member Steve Palmer, will be the first full screening, since Expo 67, of a series of shorts filmed in Montreal hospitals entitled ‘Miracles in Modern Medicine’. Robert Cordier, the film’s director, will be flying in from France for the event, and Steve Palmer will provide a brief lecture placing the film in historical context.
The event is open to the public and will be held at the McCord Museum. The film screening and talk will be followed by drinks and lively conversation.
But you must register now! This is quickly becoming the hottest ticket in town!
